4th Annual Daniel B. Allanoff foundation Concert Honoree
margie sherr
We are thrilled to announce that Margie Sherr will be our 2017 honoree for her outstanding dedication and commitment to the Daniel B. Allanoff Foundation.
Margie became involved with the Daniel B. Allanoff Foundation because of her special connection with the Allanoff family. Her involvement gave her the opportunity to combine her love for biking with her interest in healthcare and her desire to contribute meaningfully to an important cause. Not only has Margie ridden in four Sea Gull Century rides with all of the proceeds she individually raised going directly to the DBAF, she has also volunteered on various event committees for our fundraisers.
Margie is a partner at HawkPartners, focusing on marketing strategy consulting and research primarily in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. In addition, she serves on the board for the Abramson Center for Jewish Life , and served as a committee member on the Pennsylvania Act 209 Transportation Impact Fee study for her home, Worcester, PA Township. Margie's hobbies include exercise and biking of all kinds: road, mountain and cyclocross. She has been road biking for over 20 years, and mountain and cyclocross biking for more than 5 years. Margie claims to “dabble” in golf (she has a hole-in-one on the record books). She also loves to listen to music, travel and, of course, spend time with her friends and family, especially her husband Tony and daughters Sara, 25 and Stef, 23.
We are proud to call Margie Sherr our advocate and our dear friend.
